Christ became more real and experiential to me after I came into contact with the local churches. Although I was a Christian before, I did not know how to experience Christ. One of the first things I noticed about the Christians meeting with the local church was that these people really enjoyed and experienced Christ on a daily basis. They always seemed to have something fresh to share from their enjoyment of the Word. I was very much attracted by this, because the Bible had always been so dry to me before. After a short time meeting with them, I too was in the enjoyment of Christ and the Word. Christ became more real and enjoyable to me than I could have ever imagined. Being brought to the local churches was definitely the best thing that ever happened to me.



The Most Helpful Ministry

The ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee has been most helpful to me. Through this ministry, the Bible has been opened to me. Now I see who I am, what God’s desire is, and how I can experience Him. I saw, for example, that in 1 Thessalonians 5:23, the Bible reveals that as a human being I have three parts: body, soul and spirit. God's desire is to impart Himself into me so that He would be the treasure in my earthen vessel. I was created with a spirit so that I could receive and contain God. This spirit is the organ with which I contact God (John 4:24). My human spirit is the key for me to experience God and to fulfill His purpose. Through the ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee this basic revelation in the Bible has been made clear to me.
