We enjoy reading the Bible, praying, singing, and experiencing Christ. To facilitate this, we have several types of meetings throughout the week:
We have two sessions – a basic truth lesson, and a prophesying meeting. After reading a short basic truth lesson in groups of about eight, a brother reinforces this lesson for the week. Following this nourishing truth lesson and a short break, we practice to have a prophesying meeting based on 1 Corinthians 14, where every member of the Body of Christ is encouraged to share their portion of Christ for the building up of the Church.
Time: Lord’s Day, 9:30AM – 12PM
Location: The church in Irving Meeting Hall
We meet together on the Lord’s Day to break bread and drink the cup of blessing in remembrance of our Lord. Following the Lord’s Table is a family fellowship time where each member has an opportunity to fellowship with the church.
Time: Lord’s Day, 5:00PM – 6:30PM
Location: The church in Irving Meeting Hall
Throughout the week, we also have home group meetings of around ten to thirty people. These groups meet together in different homes to enjoy God’s Word and to practice meeting together “day by day and house to house” based on Acts 2:46-47.
Time/Location: If you are interested in participating in a small group meeting, we welcome you to contact us.
Every Wednesday evening, we have a prayer meeting in mutuality where each member of His Body can function to pray for the Lord’s interests both locally and throughout the earth. Some weeks, the whole church in Irving assembles together to pray; other weeks the prayer meetings are held in small groups in various homes (see Weekly Announcements). There is also a time of prayer for the Lord’s move in Europe on the Lord’s Day at 3:45pm at the meeting hall and other informal prayer times throughout the week.
Time/Location: If you would like to join us in prayer, we welcome you to contact us.
Each week on Thursday night, a college meeting is held for the college age students. In this meeting, we eat dinner, sing, and fellowship over God’s Word.
Time/Location: If you are interested in participating in a college meeting, we welcome you to contact us. You can also visit www.christiansoncampusNLC.com to learn more about a christian students club at Northlake College.
Jr. High and High school meetings are also held throughout the week. These meetings allow the junior high and high school students an opportunity to experience and enjoy Christ together.

Each Lord’s day, there is a special meeting for all children 5th grade and younger, where kids enjoy bible stories, singing, and character points that they may know the God who created all things, and wants to have a relationship with them.
